Myofascial Release & Therapeutic Massage
Treatment Focused on the Way Your Body Moves
At Willow’s Bend Therapeutic Massage, each session is individualized to address fascial restrictions, muscular tension, trigger points, scar tissue restrictions, and movement limitations that may contribute to discomfort. Mobile treatment is available throughout the Central Texas service area.
Myofascial Release (MFR)
Fascia is connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, bones, nerves, blood vessels, and other structures. Restrictions may develop following injury, surgery, repetitive activity, prolonged positioning, or scar formation. Myofascial Release uses sustained, hands-on techniques intended to address fascial restrictions and support tissue mobility and movement.
Therapeutic Massage & Trigger Point Work
- Therapeutic massage and targeted trigger point techniques may be incorporated when appropriate. Treatment focuses on your symptoms, movement limitations, tissue restrictions, and response, with the goal of supporting mobility, comfort, and recovery from physical activity and repetitive stress.

What to Expect During Your Appointment
Treatment Is Performed Clothed
There is no need to undress for this type of treatment. Sessions are performed clothed. Please wear comfortable, loose or flexible clothing such as athletic clothing, shorts, leggings, sweatpants, or a T-shirt. Oils and lotions are generally not required for Myofascial Release.
Beyond the Area of Pain
Treatment may include areas contributing to movement restrictions beyond the location of discomfort. Communication is encouraged throughout the session, and treatment can be adjusted to your comfort and response.
Mobile Treatment — Care That Comes to You
Willow’s Bend provides mobile Myofascial Release and therapeutic massage in Central Texas. Necessary treatment equipment is brought to your location. When scheduling, we can discuss your location, available space, and preparation.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
There is no single schedule for everyone. Session frequency depends on your history, goals, and response to treatment. Recommendations are individualized.
Is This Treatment Right for Me?
Myofascial Release and therapeutic massage may be worth considering for muscular tension, restricted movement, scar-related restrictions, or repetitive-stress symptoms. Massage therapy does not replace appropriate medical evaluation or treatment.
