About Willow’s Bend & Mobile Care
Our Story & Approach: Heather Stevens, BSc, LMT, CES, has practiced massage therapy since 2004. She provides mobile myofascial release and therapeutic massage in Central Texas. Her education includes myofascial release, corrective exercise, and a BSc in Sports and Health Science. Texas massage license: MT118391. Treatment is tailored to your comfort and movement goals.
Relief After a Car Accident: The flyer highlights neck and shoulder tension, stiffness, headaches, and back discomfort. Discuss your accident, any healthcare evaluation, and the guidance you received before arranging treatment. Massage does not replace medical evaluation after an injury. Heather brings the treatment equipment to your location.
Football Recovery & Mobility: This flyer covers muscular tension and movement concerns between practices and games. Areas to discuss include the neck, shoulders, back, hips, hamstrings, calves, knees, and ankles. Tell Heather about previous injuries and any restrictions from your healthcare team. Treatment is individualized; this information is not a return-to-play assessment.
Everyday Movement & Desk Habits
Your Monthly Ergonomics Reset: Review your desk setup and how often you change position. The flyer suggests supported feet, a screen at eye level, and movement breaks every 30–60 minutes. It also encourages comfortable movement for the hips, chest, and shoulders, regular hydration, and relaxed breathing.
Movement Breaks: Exercise Snacks: Brief movement breaks of about 1–3 minutes can fit into your workday. Flyer examples include gentle shoulder-blade squeezes, a seated turn, a hip-flexor stretch, and standing to reach. Choose comfortable movements appropriate to any guidance from your healthcare professional. Pair a movement break with a familiar habit, such as getting water.
The 20-20-20 Rule: Every 20 minutes, look away from your screen toward something about 20 feet away for 20 seconds. The flyer also encourages blinking, allowing the eyes to relax, and brief standing or movement breaks. Discuss persistent eye discomfort, blurred vision, or headaches with an appropriate healthcare professional.
These are summaries of the flyers linked above, provided as readable webpage text. They do not replace individualized healthcare advice. Mobile appointments are available Monday–Friday by appointment; treatment is performed clothed. Call or text (254) 294-2632.
